Still I Grow

This three-dimensional mixed-media artwork explores the emergence of beauty and growth after devastating pain intended to erase or bury the self.

A female head is set upon wood, becoming both container and ground. From it, layered botanicals, clay elements, and butterflies rise upward—suggesting regrowth that is not gentle, but earned. What was meant to suffocate instead becomes the soil from which life insists on returning.

The contrast between solid structure and organic movement reflects resilience shaped by trauma: growth that carries the memory of what came before it.
