“Anxiety” is a mixed-media, three-dimensional canvas exploring the physical experience of living in a constant state of overwhelm.

The figure’s hands press into the throat as organic growth pushes upward—beautiful, invasive, and impossible to ignore. Clay florals, preserved moss, and textured botanicals emerge where breath should be, symbolizing how anxiety can feel both alive and suffocating at once.

This piece reflects the contradiction of anxiety: the coexistence of beauty and pain, growth and constriction, resilience and exhaustion.
